Client Overview
Our client is a leading provider of medical and hospital supplies, serving healthcare professionals, facilities, outpatient clinics, and care providers. They maintain a wide product catalog, including both everyday essentials and specialized medical items. With quality and safety compliance at the core of its offering, the client served as a trusted sourcing partner for healthcare organizations in a competitive procurement market.
Business Requirements
The client required a comprehensive Walmart strategy to improve both their organic visibility and paid advertising performance. The engagement was scoped around the following objectives:
Key Challenges
Despite offering a strong product range, the client's performance on Walmart Marketplace was limited by challenges across three key operational areas:
Walmart's advertising platform offered multiple ad formats and targeting options. The client lacked the internal expertise to evaluate which strategies were best suited to specific product categories. Without this clarity, spend was distributed inefficiently across ad types that did not align with their product-market fit or target audience.
Determining appropriate daily budgets and bid strategy across a large and varied product catalog was operationally difficult. High-volume items were at risk of overspending due to aggressive bids, while lower-priority products received insufficient budget, resulting in missed impressions and lost sales opportunities. The imbalance reduced overall return efficiency.
The client's product listings were not optimized around the keyword strategies used in their ad campaigns. Managing a large inventory of high-traffic and long-tail keywords without aligning them to product content led to lower ad relevance scores, declining search rankings, and reduced competitive positioning on Walmart's results pages.
Our Approach
Our eCommerce PPC experts implemented a three-part strategy—structured ad campaign management, planned promotions and deals, and continuous data-driven optimization—to address the existing challenges.
From March 2025 to August 2025, the client recorded significant growth compared to the prior six-month period (September 2024 to February 2025):
