Our team streamlined the client’s extensive and complex HVAC product data on the BigCommerce platform by standardizing product taxonomy, categories, and attributes. Our experts researched and extracted data from the manufacturer websites and other related HVAC websites to ensure accuracy across the entire catalog in terms of specifications, attributes, and technical details of the products. Through comprehensive data cleansing and enrichment processes, we further eliminated inconsistencies, errors, and duplicate entries, resulting in a well-structured product database.
As a part of our BigCommerce listing service, we efficiently managed large-scale product uploads using CSV imports for the client.
We optimized BigCommerce HVAC product listings by writing SEO-friendly titles that incorporate high-traffic primary keywords in the beginning. Our titles highlighted features like size, material, or unique functions of the HVAC equipment. We created product descriptions with clear headers & concise paragraphs, and organically integrated primary and secondary keywords to enhance SEO without compromising clarity. We also addressed common buyer concerns and included use-case scenarios to help buyers visualize the product’s value.
We used BigCommerce's inventory management system to simplify tracking. Our team set up real-time inventory tracking across all SKUs, enabling accurate stock level monitoring and preventing overselling. We configured low-stock alerts to prompt timely restocking and utilized bulk imports to update large quantities of products. Centralized order processing within the BigCommerce store streamlined fulfillment workflows, improved order tracking, and enhanced overall operational efficiency for the client.
We used PriceMole, an automated competitor price monitoring tool, to track pricing across competitor websites for every product. We added the competitor URLs provided by the client and set minimum and maximum price thresholds to maintain profitability. PriceMole scanned these sites multiple times a day and automatically updated product prices on the client’s BigCommerce store based on competitor price fluctuations and limits specified by us.
The raw images provided by the client had distracting visual elements in the background, poor image quality, and misaligned angles. Our photo editing team utilized tools such as Photoshop and Lightroom to enhance each image by resizing, cropping, and replacing distracting backgrounds with clean, white ones. We also adjusted brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness to highlight the unique features of each HVAC component.
